Former Cardinals Playing In NPB Action 5-31-14: Chris Narveson Strikes Out Eleven & Allows Three Runs Over Seven Innings For The Win; Jorge Sosa Pitches One Scoreless Inning For The Hold; Hector Luna Collects Two Singles & One Stolen Base

Chris Narveson (former St. Louis-Yakult) started and pitched seven innings.  He allowed five hits, three earned runs, one home run, two walks, threw one wild pitch, and struck eleven out for the winning decision (2-4).  1-for-4 with one RBI and two strikeouts.

Yakult beat Softbank


Jorge Sosa (former St. Louis-Yokohama) entered in the eighth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs for the hold.

Yokohama beat Chiba Lotte 4-1


Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Hiroshima) entered late in the game as a pinch hitter and batted ninth.  0-for-1 with one strikeout.

Rakuten beat Hiroshima 3-0


Hector Luna (former St. Louis-Chunichi) started at third base and batted fourth.  2-for-4 with one stolen base and one strikeout.

Seibu beat Chunichi 5-1
