Joe Strauss On The Morning After 3-24-14

Appropriate to hear Mr. Gillman this morning, Joe a bear when it comes to twitter, Joe Kelly not Carlos Martinez named the Cardinals fifth stater, the logical choice was made by the Redbirds even though Martinez might be there in the end depending on many things, some potential benefit to keeping Martinez fresh as he could be a big impact starter come the later months of the season and possibly the postseason, the politics behind the decision especially since Kelly has been more than reliable for the starting rotation more than once, definitely an advantage for Kelly looking his maturity compared to young Martinez, Kolten Wong more than likely to start at 2B by default since Mark Ellis is a bit dinged up, jury still out on the former first round pick who certainly picked up his game after a slow start, Matt Adams certainly is one player that play into fan arousal, the battle in center field can become a real creative situation for the manager, relief pitcher Jorge Rondon in an interesting case, the frustration with Oscar Tavares, Joe's thoughts on the tourney and SLU's season, his VCU Rams falling in the Second Round, teams remaining to be bullish on, back in STL perhaps tomorrow, a picture photoshopped by Willie illustrating Robin Wright's slope of the neck & the delicious STL Wing Co.
