Former Cardinals Playing In Spring Training MLB Action 3-19-14: Carlos Beltran Collects Three Singles & Two RBIs; Daric Barton Doubles & Drives In One Run; Adam Ottavino Strikes Out Two Over One Scoreless Inning For The Hold

Carlos Beltran (former St. Louis-New York-A) started as designated hitter and batted third.  3-for-4 with two RBIs and one strikeout.

New York-A beat Atlanta 7-0


Ronny Cedeno (former St. Louis-Philadelphia) entered late in the game as a pinch runner and took over at shortstop, batting second.  0-for-1 at the plate.

Colby Rasmus (former St. Louis-Toronto) started in centerfield and batted seventh.  0-for-4 with three strikeouts and one outfield assist.

Toronto beat Philadelphia 11-6


Justin Christian (former Memphis-Tampa Bay) entered late in the game in right field and batted leadoff.  1-for-2 at the plate.

Tampa Bay beat Baltimore 7-4


Daric Barton (former Peoria-Oakland) started at first base and batted second.  1-for-4 with one double, one RBI, and one run.

Oakland beat Cleveland 13-3


Adron Chambers (former St. Louis-Houston) entered late in the game as a pinch hitter and took over in left field, batting eighth.  1-for-1 with one caught stealing.
Raul Valdes (former St. Louis-Houston) entered in the sixth and pitched one inning.  He allowed two hits, no runs, and one walk for the hold (1).  (g/f:0-2)

Brock Peterson (former St. Louis-Washington) entered late in the game at first base and batted fifth.  1-for-1 at the plate.

Houston beat Washington 2-0


Mike McCoy (former Memphis-Boston) entered late in the game at shortstop and batted eighth.  One walk at the plate.

Pittsburgh beat Boston 4-2


Skip Schumaker (former St. Louis-Cincinnati) started at second base and batted second.  1-for-2 with one double, two runs, one walk, and assisted in one double play.
Ryan Ludwick (former St. Louis-Cincinnati) started in left field and batted fifth.  2-for-3 at the plate.

Kansas city beat Cincinnati 6-3


Adam Ottavino (former St. Louis-Colorado) entered in the seventh and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs, one walk, and struck two out for the hold (2).

Colorado beat Chicago-N 9-6
