Former Cardinals Playing In Spring Training MLB Action 3-29-14: Xavier Nady & David Freese Each Single, Double, & Drives In One Run; Albert Pujols Doubles & Knocks In One Run; Marc Rzepczynski Strikes Out Only Batter Faced

Andrew Brown (former St. Louis-New York-N) entered late in the game in right field.

Colby Rasmus (former St. Louis-Toronto) started in centerfield and batted seventh.  0-for-3 with one strikeout.

Toronto beat New York-N 2-0


Adron Chambers (former St. Louis-Houston) started in left field and batted seventh.  0-for-3 with two strikeouts.

Daniel McCutchen (former 2005 draft selection-Texas) entered in the fifth and pitched 1.2 innings.  He allowed two hits, two earned runs, one home run, one walk, and struck two out.  (g/f:2-1)(ir-s:2-2)

Houston beat Texas 13-6


Marc Rzepczynski (former St. Louis-Cleveland) entered in the sixth and pitched to one batter.  He allowed no hits or runs, and struck one out.

Xavier Nady (former 1997 draft selection-San Diego) started in right field and batted sixth.  2-for-3 with one double, one RBI, and one strikeout.

San Diego beat Cleveland 9-8


Jamie Romak (former Memphis-Los Angeles) entered late in the game as a pinch runner and took over in left field, batting fourth.  0-for-1 with one walk.
Dan Haren (former St. Louis-Los Angeles) started and pitched two innings.  He allowed six hits, six earned runs, two home run, one walk, and struck one out for the losing decision (0-1).

Albert Pujols (former St. Louis-Anaheim) started at first base and batted third.  1-for-3 with one double, one RBI, and one run.
David Freese (former St. Louis-Anaheim) started at third base and batted fifth.  2-for-3 with one double and one two-out RBI.

Anaheim beat Los Angeles 6-2


Amaury Cazana (former Memphis-Veracruz) started as designated hitter and batted fifth.  0-for-3 at the plate.

Houston beat Veracruz 2-0
