Nettuno 2 was able to sign two Cuban stars for the 2014 season in the Italian Baseball League. The replacement for Mastiff in the IBL added left-hander Norberto Gonzalez and first baseman Joan Carlos Pedroso to the roster. Gonzalez has been a well-known pitcher for the Cuban national team in the last years including playing in the Olympic Games. Pedroso has hit more than 300 home runs in Cuba’s top division.
