Cardinals Minor League Spring Training 3-29-14: Rowan Wick Singles, Doubles, & Drives In Three Runs; Jake Stone Singles, Homers, & Drives In Two Runs; Joe Cuda Strikes Out Three Over Five Scoreless Innings

Springfield (Double-A) Beat New Orleans (Miami Triple-A) 2-1

Shelby Miller (St. Louis) started and pitched four innings.  He allowed six hits, one earned run, one walk, and struck two out.
Justin Wright (Springfield) entered in the fifth and pitched two innings.  He allowed no hits or runs, and struck three out.
Joe Donofrio (Peoria) entered in the seventh and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs.
Iden Nazario (Palm Beach) entered in the eighth and pitched one inning.  He allowed one hit and no runs.
Danny Miranda (Springfield) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs.
Matt Williams (Springfield) started at shortstop.  2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.


Palm Beach (A-Advanced) Beat Jacksonville (Miami Double-A) 2-1

Joe Cuda (Palm Beach) started and pitched five innings.  He allowed three hits, no runs, one walk, and struck three out.
Aidan Lucas (Palm Beach) entered in the sixth and pitched two innings.  He allowed two hits and one earned run.
Thomas Lee (Palm Beach) entered in the eighth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs.
Sam Tuivailala (Peoria) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs, two walks, and struck two out.
Breyvic Valera (Peoria) started at second base.  3-for-4 at the plate.
Anthony Garcia (Palm Beach) started in left field.  2-for-3 with two doubles and one run.
