Lefthander Jaime Garcia will rejoin the Cardinals today. He took a cortisone shot in his left shoulder at the office of Dr. James Andrews in Pensacola, Fla., on Wednesday and the Cardinals’ brass is encouraged that no additional surgery is required so far.
