The relief ranks are always the Big Lots of prospects lists. You’re finding some pitchers on markdown because of control or delivery issues, plus you know that more will be joining this group eventually as they flame out as starting pitching prospects. Martinez hasn’t flamed out but is blocked from starting in St. Louis and should thrive in a bullpen role. He, Rondon and Workman have already shown what they can do. Arodys Vizcaino is a name to watch if he can just stay healthy.
