As a Cardinal fan — and a Carlos Beltran fan, moreover — we’re of course cheering for the Cardinal right fielder to do his best in the current series and hopefully a couple more this season. But we have to raise a skeptical eyebrow when we read comparisons of Beltran with Babe Ruth.
