From his vantage point the past two summers in the home bullpen at Milwaukee’s Miller Park, John Axford had a clear view of what the Cardinals had brewing across the field with their young relievers. Before he joined the Cardinals, Axford saw the Cardinals turn to prospect after prospect, each one seemingly younger and throwing harder than the last.
