As Game 3 of the NLDS gets underway this afternoon, the St. Louis Cardinals will face the challenge of Pittsburgh’s Francisco Liriano. In three starts this season, the Pirates lefty has yielded just two runs with 20 strikeouts in 24 innings against the Cardinals.
