The Cardinals held an hour workout at Busch Stadium this afternoon, a day before opening up the NLDS against the Pirates. Manager Mike Matheny is holding off on naming his Games 3 and 4 starters and will have Shelby Miller and Michael Wacha available out of the bullpen for Game 1. That would seem to suggest that Joe Kelly will likely get the nod to start Game 3.

Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak said that most of the roster decisions were pretty clear before the Pittsburgh Pirates toppled the Cincinnati Reds in the wild-card playoff and advanced to the National League division series.
