St. Louis Cardinals manager Mike Matheny made an appearance at the Black Hawk Valley Hunting Club near Old Monroe on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, with his son Tate. They competed in a meat shoot that benefited the Joshua Chamberlin Society, an organization that helps injured veterans in the St. Louis area. Matheny's five-man team won their round in a shoot-off.
