The St. Louis Cardinals announced today that they have recalled right-handed reliever Fernando Salas from Memphis (AAA) and optioned left-handed pitcher Tyler Lyons to the triple-A club.

One day after throwing five solid innings, allowing just one earned run on three hits and striking out seven, Tyler Lyons has been sent back to AAA Memphis.
