Adam Melker Nursing Staff Infection
Outfielder Adam Melker is nursing a staff infection in his right arm but is close to returning after last playing on Aug. 16. Melker, who awoke in Midland, Texas to the issue, was still experiencing some swelling on Thursday but took batting practice for the first time in days.
