Under normal circumstances, Saturday would have been a perfect baseball day for the Cardinals. The fabulous milieu featured divine sunshine, a full house at Busch Stadium, a spirited rally to overtake the Miami Marlins for a 5-4 victory, and five Cardinals chosen to represent the National League in the All-Star Game.
