Audry Perez Named Texas League Player Of The Week For July 1-7, 2013
The Texas League announced on Monday that Springfield Cardinals C Audry Perez has been named the Texas Player of the Week for the week of July 1-7. It marks the fourth time that a Cardinal has won the award this season, with All-Star LF Mike O'Neill claiming it for April 22-28, 1B Xavier Scruggs for April 29-May 5, and All-Star 3B Ruben Gotay for June 17-23.
