The Texas League announced on Monday that Springfield Cardinals All-Star 3B Ruben Gotay has been named the Texas League Player of the Week for the week of June 17 - 23. It marks the third time that a Cardinal has won the award this season, with All-Star LF Mike O'Neill claiming it for April 22-28 and 1B Xavier Scruggs for April 29 - May 5.
