Missouri State center fielder Tate Matheny, son of St. Louis Cardinals manager Mike Matheny, homered to start a game the Bears never trailed. Three other Missouri State players recorded multiple hits, while Aces freshman Jonathan Ramon tallied a pair of hits and three RBIs.
