I was just reminded of a scene from the movie Dead Poets Society, where Robin Williams, who is a boarding school teacher, takes his students to look at the school's trophy case and the dusty old pictures of former student athletes. The boys in the class could see the faded remains of kids just like them who thought they would conquer the world, only to find that the world just keeps moving. The point...? Seize the day.
