The Cardinals had a chance to do something Tuesday night that hadn't been done in nearly a month; win a series. After the 15-5 drubbing against Midland Monday night, Springfield sent lefty John Gast to the mound making just his second Double-A start against former big leaguer Jason Bergmann of the RockHounds.
