Strained Shoulder Lands Eduardo Sanchez On DL; Matt Holliday Activated
The Cardinals placed reliever Eduardo Sanchez on the 15-day disabled list Thursday with what the club is calling a "mild shoulder strain." The move opened a roster spot for Matt Holliday, who was activated from the DL after missing 15 days due to a strained left quadriceps.
