Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak disputed a report on Wednesday that the club has agreed to a deal with first-round Draft pick Kolten Wong. However, he acknowledged that negotiations continue with the second baseman, and expressed optimism that a contract will be agreed to prior to the Aug. 15 deadline.
