Springfield Falls To NW Arkansas 5-1

On a jam-packed Saturday evening at Hammons Field it was Military Appreciation Night as the Cardinals wore their Camo Jerseys to honor the men and women fighting for our freedom. The Camo Jerseys would be auctioned off during the game to benefit the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. TriWest Alliance Thundersticks were also given away at the gates and round two of AM Pyrotechnics Fireworks would light up the sky after the game.
The Springfield Cardinals David Kopp may have won 12 games a year ago, but his first start of the 2011 season suggested he will need a few more starts before getting back into a rhythm.
