Today's game between the Springfield Cardinals and the NW Arkansas Naturals at Hammons Field has been cancelled due to continuous rain. Today's game will be made up as part of a Double-Header on Sunday, May 15th, 2011 with two 7 inning games beginning at 5:07 pm. Gates will open at 4:07 pm for the double header.
A three-run home run by Chris Swauger and a solo home run by Wil Myers — it hit the Dasani water bottle sign beyond the wall in left center field — will not count tonight after the Springfield Cardinals and Northwest Arkansas Naturals’ game was declared a rainout.
