The River Bandits collected four runs on eleven hits on its way to a 4-1 victory against Cedar Rapids. The win secures the series victory and the Bandits fourth series win in a row. The Bandits have now won 10 of its last 12 games.
Trevor Rosenthal felt like he was making up for lost time Sunday when he took the mound at Modern Woodmen Park.
The River Bandits scored the only runs they needed to earn their third straight victory over the Kernels in the second inning Sunday, tagging Cedar Rapids starter Justin La Tempa for three runs on three hits.
