The Pieces Are Fitting So Far For Cardinals
When the Cardinals return from their current nine-game, three-time-zones trip, their season will be one-third complete. They eclipsed the first quarter amid the rancor of last Sunday's 9-7 loss and three-game sweep by the Cincinnati Reds with a 22-19 record, a pace that would give them 87-88 wins and likely a legitimate chance to recapture the NL Central.
