Pujols reached the left-field seats at PETCO Park on Monday, his first home run since April 23 against the Reds in St. Louis. Pujols hit a low fastball from Padres starter Dustin Moseley about 360 feet to give the Cardinals a 1-0 lead in the sixth inning. Pujols had gone 105 at-bats without a home run when he hit Moseley's 89-mph fastball two rows into the seats. Entering this year, his longest home run drought was 79 at-bats.
