Hooks manager Tom Lawless took the field Monday evening at Whataburger Field for an open two-hour workout to the public with a strong feeling of optimism regarding the tentative 2011 Opening Day squad that features a collective group of talented, young pitchers and positions players at the Double-A level for the Houston Astros.
