Ryan Theriot, Colby Rasmus Set The Table For Cardinals

The Cardinals were held to three runs or under for the fifth game in succession Tuesday night. That hadn't happened at the start of any other of their 100-plus seasons since 1919. But the Cardinals, 3-2 victors over Pittsburgh, nevertheless managed their second win in five games and the offense appeared slowly to be gaining traction, even without recovering Matt Holliday.
