General manager John Mozeliak, manager Tony La Russa and pitching coach Dave Duncan insisted Sunday that Ryan Franklin remains the Cardinals' closer for the immediate future. The stance is predicated upon a belief Franklin can reverse his fitful start to the season and acknowledgement that, at least for now, options are limited.
