Rick Ankiel's Big Day Propels Nationals To First 2011 Win

Washington's bats backed Lannan in the third, scoring three runs. Jayson Werth scored on a sacrifice fly by Morse, and Rick Ankiel followed with a two-run homer to make it a 4-1 game.
