The Quad Cities River Bandits season opener at Modern Woodmen Park has been postponed due to rain. The game has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 9 as part of a double-header consisting of two-seven inning games beginning at 6 p.m. The River Bandits will look to open the season Friday, April 8, at 7 p.m.
Umbrellas and raingear seemingly have replaced ceremonial first pitches and colorful bunting as an opening day tradition for the Quad-Cities River Bandits.
