Bandit starter Anthony Ferrara (2-1) went seven hitless innings allowing no runs while striking out eight to earn the win in the Bandits 2-0 victory over the Cedar Rapids Kernels Saturday night at Modern Woodmen Park. Ferrara faced the minimum and allowed only two base runners in the game on a walk and an error. Ferrara was replaced by reliever Boone Whiting. The right hander pitched two scoreless innings allowing onw hit while striking out three.
Walking into the dugout after a frustrating pregame warmup in the bullpen Saturday, Quad-Cities pitcher Anthony Ferrara wasn’t happy.
