Tony LaRussa Explains Why Bryan Anderson, Ramon Vazquez Were Cut
The Cardinals decided to option catcher Bryan Anderson to Class AAA Memphis before the end of camp to get the lefthanded hitter more playing time and to avoid clogging the big-league DL, manager Tony La Russa said.
