Series Hero Edgar Renteria Receives Ovation
Thursday's salute to Edgar Renteria shouldn't have occurred in an exhibition game, with a few thousand people watching in the middle of a desert. It was meant for the regular season, at a certain bayside ballpark in a certain northern California city, before 40,000 grateful people yelling themselves hoarse.
