Former St. Louis Cardinal Rick Ankiel, a candidate for the Washington Nationals' left-field job, returned home Thursday -- he still maintains a Jupiter residence in the offseason. Ankiel, bothered by a quadriceps injury last year, managed only 211 at-bats between Kansas City and Atlanta, hitting six home runs and driving in 22 runs.
