Rice University star third baseman Anthony Rendon, the projected No. 1 overall pick heading into the 2011 First-Year Player Draft in June, highlights the 2011 Houston College Classic at Minute Maid Park this weekend, as the 20-year-old junior leads head coach Wayne Graham's squad and the No. 21-ranked Owls, according to Baseball America's latest poll, in a field that includes nationally-ranked Baylor (No. 16) and Texas A&M (No. 20), as well as Houston, Kentucky and Utah.
