Chris Carpenter's Last Start, Daniel Descalso At Third
While manager Tony La Russa is ever reluctant to confirm the obvious with his roster -- he has two utility infielders remaining in camp; he has two openings for an infielder on the roster -- the Cardinals' skipper did permit one reality after cuts last week: He's going to have to get Daniel Descalso some playing time at third.
