Gettign Adam Wainwright Ready

Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright is scheduled to start the first exhibition game of spring training, on Feb. 28. Pitching coach Dave Duncan outlined the schedule for Wainwright, a schedule that is similar to the ones followed by the Cardinals' other four starters. The goal, Duncan said, is to condition the pitcher through spring so he's ready to throw 100 pitches in his first regular-season start. Here Duncan's recipe for building up his arms:
