Cubs Legend Ron Santo Dead At 70
Ron Santo's love for the Chicago Cubs stretched from his days as a standout third baseman who one season even jumped and clicked his heels to celebrate victories to the two decades he spent unabashedly pulling for his team as a broadcaster.
I'm a lifelong Cardinals fan, now living up in Chicago, and you have to mourn the loss of Ron Santo. He loved his Cubs the way Harry Caray love the Cards - absolutely and unabashedly. But even more, Ron was a good spirit. He lived life wel, fully, positively, and worked always to help others. This world is a lesser place without Ron.
