Bernie Bytes 11-17-10: Good Deal For Jake Westbrook, Cardinals
Just my opinion, but the Ryan Ludwick / Jake Westbrook trade looks better now than it did at the time of the transaction. Westbrook's pending free-agent status was among the reasons why I didn't like the trade. Bartering Ludwick for what appeared to be a rental pitcher seemed to be a waste of an asset.
