Bill DeWitt Happy For Reds...For The Most Part
Bill DeWitt Jr., twice has had a stake in the Cincinnati Reds' franchise and a group with which he was involved inquired about buying a majority interest in that club another time. His father, Bill DeWitt Sr., was the sole owner of the Reds from 1961-67, a period when the Reds won a National League pennant in 1961 and nearly another in 1964 when the Cardinals rallied to win on the last day of the season.
