Retired Cardinals first baseman Jack Clark called Cardinals players quitters Thursday on his regular pregame segment on WXOS (101.1 FM). Clark also used the word pathetic to describe the Cardinals' recent effort. Naturally, Cardinals manager Tony La Russa took exception to Clark's characterizations. I wouldn't expect otherwise from TLR.
