Luke Gregerson Makes Adjustments

After giving up eight runs (seven earned) over three appearances that totaled one inning, Luke Gregerson and pitching coach Darren Balsley made an adjustment to Gregerson’s delivery.

Gregerson had been fixing his finger position on his next pitch behind his back. He has shifted to preparing the pitch in his glove at the belt buckle.

“It’s allowed me to stay on top of my slider,” said Gregerson, who has allowed one hit in four scoreless innings since the “tweak.”
