Jaime Moyer Progressing After Avoiding Sugery

It is early in the process, but Phillies left-hander Jamie Moyer is optimistic.

He has been on the disabled list since July with a sprained ulnar collateral ligament and a strained flexor pronator in his left elbow. He opted to rehab the elbow and avoid surgery, which would give him a chance to pitch in Spring Training.
