Three-Way Race In NY-Penn League
With more than half the season in the books, Batavia, Williamsport and Jamestown could be involved in an interesting playoff race down the stretch. The three teams are within one game of each other as the Muckdogs (27-17) lead the division by a half-game over the Crosscutters and one game over the Jammers. Brooklyn (30-15) leads the McNamara by 6 1/2 games over Hudson Valley, while Vermont (25-19) has a two-game edge over second-place Connecticut in the Stedler.
