During the seven-day, eight game homestand, the Cardinals had won four of seven and had a chance to take two of three from the Arkansas Travelers with a win on Thursday night with Major League Rehabber Kyle Lohse on the mound.
Kyle Lohse’ injury rehab start for Double-A Springfield was hardly impressive Thursday night as the St. Louis Cardinals right-hander got knocked around for 12 hits and five runs by a lefy-heavy Arkansas Travelers lineup.
