The reports pitching coach Dave Duncan and manager Tony La Russa read and hear from Kyle Lohse’s rehab start Thursday night at Double-A Springfield won’t exactly be glowing.
The Cardinals and Kyle Lohse hoped Thursday's tune-up on behalf of the Springfield Cardinals would be just that, a no-fuss tune-up.
The next phase of Kyle Lohse's injury rehab time starts later today when the St. Louis Cardinals right-hander rejoins the parent club in Miami, Fla., and then intends to lobby pitching coach Dave Duncan on a return to the rotation.
