Joe Magrane joins The Fast Lane. Joe talks about how as a pitcher Whitey told him every time to make sure he was loose because he was going to throw 27 innings every time. He also talked about how Herzog made the 25th guy on the team seem like the most important guy. He compares Herzog to Lou Piniella in how much they are so passionate about the game.
